Cybersite Consulting has been working with OpenOffice.org and StarOffice documents since the software originally started. This allows us to have an insight into certain issues or differences in design between existing office packages and OpenOffice.org. This makes Cybersite the ideal candidate to design and implement new templates that will be portable and help make your business more productive.

Cybersite Consulting does not believe in limiting the template design to match what is on the paper. Options are available now to automate a lot of the repetitive tasks that use to be required for the paper forms and documents. If Cybersite can see an alternative method of implementing a document, we will suggest it to the client as a possible feature enhancement.

The templates we design help offer a quicker and more managible method of controlling your document creation processes. Designs can be done in any of the Writer, Calc or Impress formats as required.

The default template is a special template in OpenOffice.org and StarOffice which is used to determine the default actions and formats of the document types. This means that when you open a spreadsheet in Calc, the default template determines whether the columns are formatted to numbers, text, dates etc and whether there are certain colours, styles, borders and so on. This can be very useful to the client, but also very unproductive, if not set to the defaults they require.

Cybersite Consulting is able to setup default templates for any of the OpenOffice.org packages to make creation of documents, spreadsheets and presentation as easy and as simple as possible for our clients. We can create the template with all the necessary settings so that it is simply a matter of the client adding the numbers or text to the document and saving it off as a file.
